Software solutions
The right software, licensed the right way
Software procurement and implementation guidance for individuals, teams and organisations — covering product options, editions, licensing models, compatibility, deployment and the questions that only become expensive later.
Categories
Software areas we work across
Different categories carry different licensing structures, deployment models and compatibility considerations. We work through each on its own terms.
Productivity software
Document, spreadsheet, presentation, email and calendar tooling — including the differences between individual, family, business and organisational editions that catch teams out at renewal.
Creative technology
Design, imaging, video, audio and publishing software, where hardware requirements, file compatibility and licence portability between machines all matter to working practice.
Business applications
Accounting, operations, project management, customer management and reporting systems selected around existing processes rather than around feature counts.
Development tools
Integrated development environments, version control, build and deployment tooling, testing platforms and the licensing arrangements that apply to teams.
Cloud software
Applications delivered and administered through the cloud, including hybrid arrangements where some components remain on local infrastructure.
Collaboration platforms
Messaging, meetings, shared workspaces and document collaboration, evaluated against how a team actually communicates rather than how it might.
Security solutions
Endpoint protection, access management, backup and recovery tooling, sized to the organisation and to the risk it is genuinely carrying.
Operating systems
Desktop and server operating system editions, licensing models, upgrade paths and hardware compatibility considerations.
SaaS platforms
Subscription applications across every function, including plan comparison, user tier structure and renewal planning. See SaaS & digital services.
Enterprise software
Larger platforms with formal procurement, structured deployment, administrative governance and multi-year cost implications.
Data & infrastructure tooling
Database platforms, monitoring, automation and operational tooling that support the systems around them.

Software requirements do not always fit a category. Describe what the software needs to do and we will help you identify the realistic options.
What we help you understand
The decisions behind the purchase
Buying software is straightforward. Buying the correct edition, on the correct licensing model, for the correct number of people, deployed in a way that works with your existing systems, is where the effort actually sits.
These are the areas where we most often find that a small amount of analysis before purchase prevents a significant amount of cost or disruption afterwards.
- Product options
- Which products realistically address the requirement, and how they differ in ways that matter to your situation rather than on paper.
- Licensing models
- Subscription versus perpetual, per-user versus per-device, named versus concurrent, and what each means as headcount changes.
- Compatibility
- How the software interacts with your existing systems, file formats, integrations and operating environments.
- Business vs individual
- Where individual editions stop being appropriate, and what business editions add in administration, support and compliance terms.
- Subscription models
- Billing cycles, tier structures, commitment periods and what happens to access and data if a subscription lapses.
- Deployment models
- Cloud, local, hybrid or managed — and the administrative effort each one implies for your team.
- Device requirements
- Hardware, operating system and performance requirements, including whether existing equipment is adequate.
- Team requirements
- User counts, roles, permissions, shared resources and the administrative structure needed to manage them.
- Implementation
- Rollout sequence, data migration, training needs and the practical steps between purchase and productive use.
How we work
From requirement to working deployment
Understand requirements
What the software has to do, who will use it, and what it must work alongside.
Evaluate options
Products, editions and licensing models compared on fit, compatibility and total cost.
Recommend a solution
A specific recommendation with reasoning, including the licensing structure and why.
Assist with deployment
Procurement support, installation or provisioning guidance, and rollout planning.
Provide ongoing guidance
Renewal reviews, licence adjustments as the team changes, and advice on upgrades.
How we operate
Legitimate licensing only
ADOBEVN provides guidance on software procurement and implementation through legitimate channels. We do not provide shared accounts, resold credentials, licence circumvention, activation bypasses or any similar arrangement, and we will not advise on them.
This is a practical position as well as a principled one. Arrangements of that kind create compliance exposure, support gaps and business continuity risk that almost always cost more than the licensing they were intended to avoid. Where budget is a genuine constraint, there are usually legitimate options — different editions, different licensing models, different products entirely — and those are the conversations we would rather have.
Product, service and company names referenced on this website are used for identification purposes only and remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to a technology or platform does not imply an official partnership, endorsement or authorised reseller relationship unless explicitly stated.
Find the right software solution
Tell us what the software needs to do, who will use it and what it has to work with. We will help you compare the realistic options and choose a licensing structure that still makes sense next year.
